Provenance

A large 19th-century light-blue, native-cut sapphire, expertly set by our workshop in a 14ct yellow gold setting. This gentle giant of a sapphire is unheated and originates from Sri Lanka. Carefully sourced from an antique ring whose setting had suffered significant wear, the sapphire itself remained in perfect condition and has now been thoughtfully re-imagined for a new life.

• Hallmarks: hallmark indicates that the ring was assayed in Sheffield. Further marked with '14K' and '585' indicating 14ct yellow gold.
