A timeless 90s wool skirt suit by Emily Petites, made of excellent quality tweed in black & off-white check. Although the label says petite it appears to be a regular sized suit - it’s shown on a 5’9” mannequin. This listing includes blazer & skirt as seen in photos (blouse is not included). The blazer features a slightly relaxed tailored fit, light sharp shoulder pads for structure, decorative buttons at cuffs, a chic long line lapel, and 1 button front closure. It has 2 front & 1 breast pocket which are all sewn tightly closed. I believe they could be opened with a seam ripper, It does feel like there are pockets between the lining & the wool layer. The skirt has an A-line cut with box pleats in front starting at the hip line, high waist, and a rear zipper & button closure. The suit is fully lined in silky black fabric.
