MEYBO HSX AL FRAME 2025

The HSX AL is the top-performing aluminum frame in the MEYBO range, designed for competition. It’s the perfect choice for those seeking high performance without opting for a carbon frame. Its geometry is specifically designed for championship and world cup tracks, delivering the perfect balance between maneuverability and stability at high speeds.

For the 2025 model, the Meybo HSX AL retains the same features as the 2024 model. Regarding braking, this frame is only compatible with "Flat-mount" brake calipers. This means that the brake caliper is directly mounted on the rear base of the frame. For optimal finishing, two bolts pass through the rear base of the frame to securely hold the brake caliper in place. This setup only works with 120 mm discs; the frame is not compatible with 140 mm discs. The frame comes with 1, 2, and 4 mm spacers to align your disc if you are not using a specific HSX SD hub.

The bottom bracket standard varies by size. For the Expert, Expert XL, and Pro 21 sizes, the BB86 standard (Ø41 mm) is used. For larger sizes, a Pressfit BB386 (Ø46 mm) is implemented. This enhances rigidity and minimizes flex during pedaling.

To maintain a consistent chainstay length regardless of gear ratio, this frame is equipped with a 15 mm thru-axle, significantly increasing the rear frame's rigidity. This setup requires a 15 mm rear axle hub. The axle itself is made from 7005 aluminum, fully CNC machined.

To ensure consistent chain tension, Meybo has designed an integrated chain tensioner that provides optimal transmission performance, regardless of the selected gear ratio. To fine-tune chain tension using this tensioner, it is recommended to use a half-link chain for more precise adjustments.

In summary, the HSX retains the same tubing as the 2024 model, made from high-end 6061-T6 aluminum with hydroformed tubes of varying thicknesses to optimize weight without sacrificing strength. A new rear dropout has been designed to accommodate a fixed thru-axle and a Flat-mount disc brake.

Designed and built for competition, whether at high speeds on a world cup track or leading on an indoor circuit, the HSX AL is a formidable weapon for racing.
